Have you ever made a truck bumper from scratch? What about for a 1945 Dodge truck? Neither have we, until a vintage Dodge outfitter approached us with a challenge. Believe it or not, this bumper started out as a flat piece of metal. The complex angles that you see in the images of these Dodge truck bumpers require 7 different processes to create each one. Two of the seven processes require a pitch bend technique, allowing us to achieve unique curves using an advanced press brake approach, as shown in the picture. This 'art' requires patience, experience, and custom tooling to achieve, resulting in durable and aesthetically pleasing bumpers.
